Ava Music & Art Centre Ltd. was established in 1995 by Mr. Fred Safaei. Mr. Safaei immigrated to Canada in aim of pursuing his dream to provide a professional, life-long education to musicians of all ages and levels. What began as a one-room studio operated by Mr. Safaei in the heart of North Vancouver quickly transformed into a business that consistently receives international acclaim for its high standards of music education.

Ava Music & Art Centre Ltd. currently employs over thirty dedicated instructors and staff members, and is run under the management of Heather Deris. Together, Mr. Safaei and Ms. Deris have created a facility in which students of all ages, levels and socioeconomic backgrounds are able to pursue their dreams in the arts industry.

North Shore Summer Camp, a proud subsidiary of Ava Music & Art Centre Ltd., is a multiple award-winning summer program that has been inspiring creativity and confidence in children for over two decades. Located in the heart of the North Shore, our camp offers a unique blend of music, art, dance, acting, and film programs designed to nurture each child’s imagination and talent. As part of Ava Music’s long-standing tradition of excellence in arts education, North Shore Summer Camp provides a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where young minds can explore their passions, build friendships, and develop lifelong skills.
